Jewels From Sanibel

Mary got up before the sun broke through the sky this morning so she could get the most out of her day of shelling in Sanibel. Dressed in her favorite spandex bathing suit with shirred front she walked for what seemed like miles. And what luck, there among the seaweed she found a Banded Tulip, coral and other sea treasures. She was able to walk as far as the lighthouse before she stopped to look over her finds. There in at the water’s edge was a snowy egret looking for its breakfast of minnows. It was a perfect day.
